The Mobility Lab of the University of Tartu invites everyone interested in mobility, urban planning, and public transport to take part in the fifth season of the public online lecture series “Mobility Analysis and Planning for Human-Scale Cities.” The aim of the series is to broaden knowledge on public transport planning and use, and its role in creating vibrant, human-scale urban environments.

This season focuses on public transport planning and operations at both national and capital city levels. The lectures address topics such as passenger satisfaction, shaping public transport use through targeted interventions, collaboration between companies in providing journey planning and ticketing services, and the use of mobility data in modelling multimodal urban mobility.

The speakers include internationally recognised experts and researchers in mobility and transport, who will share insights and practical examples on mobility planning and the role of public transport in sustainable urban development.

The lecture series is free of charge and open to all interested participants. Although the series is part of the master-level course “Mobility Analysis in Planning,” both the live-streamed lectures and the recordings are publicly accessible. Lectures are held in either English or Estonian.

Registration is open until the end of the series. Registered participants will receive a calendar invitation and a Zoom link for each lecture.

Registration and recordings from previous years are available on the lecture series website.
