Overview of selected latest exciting projects in geoinformatics”

 

Prof. Tõnu Oja will talk about the implementation of the fire hazard map in the framework of the Environment Agency weather service (2023-2024)  under LIFE-SIP project AdaptEst „Implementation of national climate change adaptation activities in Estonia” (2023-2032).

 

Alexander Kmoch will present the spatial planning tool for planning the transnational network of GREEN hydrogen refuelling stations (HRS) suited for large trucks under the Interreg project „Developing a transnational network of hydrogen refuelling stations for trucks” (2023- 2025)

 

Prof. Evelyn Uuemaa will show the geospatial analysis tool for developed for Estonian startup Arbonics.  The tool enables to analyse the afforestation potential to estimate the carbon sequestration potential for the voluntary carbon market.
